2024 HelpeerZ Company Meet & Greet,
Philippine Entity Launch

On April 7, 2024, we achieved a significant milestone for our organization and the advocacy we champion. We officially launched our Philippine entity and welcomed our first two full-time Filipino employees. This also marked the exciting occasion of our remote team meeting each other face to face for the first time. We celebrated this humble but momentous occasion with a Meet and Greet event for our company!

Sir Bill Estibal (HelpeerZ CEO) and Sir Ben Recania (HelpeerZ Business Development Executive) leaving San Francisco International Airport
Our CEO, Sir Bill Marlow Estibal, established HelpeerZ in South San Francisco, California, two years ago. He coordinated everyone's work remotely from headquarters. Despite living in the United States for almost five years, the desire to return to the Philippines never left his heart and mind, primarily to share the project he's been working on with his fellow Filipinos (kababayans), this thought of going back although was held back a few times come to fruition last week. Sir Bill, along with Sir Ben Recania, our Business Development Executive, arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport earlier than scheduled.
For his visit to the Philippines, one of his top priorities is to officially establish a Philippine office. This office will be the first of many he envisions opening in various countries. By creating a home base in his home country, he hopes to centralize engineering operations and validate the organization's overall plans. While HelpeerZ has already functioned remotely and as an international company for several years thanks to the dedication of its artists, editors, and developers scattered across multiple countries, the recent meet and greet symbolizes two purposes: the celebration of the establishment of the Philippine office and the welcoming of Jean and Aron, the company's first Filipino Senior QA Engineer and first Filipino Senior Software Engineer.
Contract signing for Ms. Jean Arlha Rodrin, our Senior Software QA Engineer, and Mr. Aron Joshua Bagtas, our Senior Software Engineer, Congratulations!

The highlight of the event, of course, was meeting everyone face-to-face for the first time. Just a few years ago, the pandemic forced us to re-think everything we were doing and separated us at least physically from loved ones. It was during this period that HelpeerZ was born, with the hope of becoming a platform to improve lives. This event, therefore, embodies for us the value of in-person interaction, a stark contrast to the digital world, and reflects our CEO's vision for a life beyond just a digital platform. Remarkably, even the company's executives - Sir Bill (HelpeerZ CEO), Mam Lyn (HelpeerZ COO), Sir Ben ( HelpeerZ Business Development Executive), and yours truly, Arthur (HelpeerZ CTO) - only met in person for the first time at this event. This date truly represents a multitude of firsts for us, and we hope it marks the beginning of a successful journey for both HelpeerZ in the Philippines and the platform as a whole.
The HelpeerZ Executive Team!
The HelpeerZ Executive Team: Sir Bill Estibal (HelpeerZ CEO), Mam Lyn Montero Elizalde (HelpeerZ COO), Sir Ben Recania (HelpeerZ Business Development Executive), and yours truly, Arthur Abogadil (HelpeerZ CTO) only met for the first time together in this event!
Our event was also graced by the lovely voices of the Packing Siblings (Aquila and Joko) and KDR Music House Artist Hakki! Both have successful social media presence on their own right! A huge thank you to them for making our event truly magical! They performed choice musical pieces that perfectly captured the messages and spirit we dream for HelpeerZ to embody as a platform for our users. We are grateful for their willingness to perform at our humble launch event, even though they are use to performing for much larger audiences and we won't forget it! And to everyone, be sure to check out their channels - you will love it!

The executive team also shared the history, vision, and their dreams for the platform: how the team was formed and some of the plans they are working on. It was truly a delight watching on the sidelines the magic of a startup taking shape, from the inception to seeing all the pieces get assembled, like blocks of LEGOs bit by bit becoming a fully realized and completely built model.

One of the special highlights of the event was the glimpse our engineering intern team offered into their project that aims to revolutionize remote work. I can't wait to share this with everyone in the near future as it enters the alpha stage. In the meantime, we in the executive team also wanted to extend out thanks to these up-and-coming engineers. We can't wait to see what incredible projects you'll do in the future!

To better explain the HelpeerZ advocacy, our CEO conceptualized, together with our in-house artist, Antonette Edad, the HelpeerZ Brand Ambassadors. Cody representing safety and services, Bayani representing law and order and Whyna representing diversity and inclusion. They are gleefully brought to life by Miss Marie Bernadette Baynosa (Hair / Make Up and Conceptualization), Angelo Araguirang (Bayani), Nathan Marquez (Cody) and Sharen Ruivivar (Whyna). Who would have thought that its not only the team we will meet face-to-face on this event but even our ambassadors!

We also are expressing our sincere gratitude to the amazing HelpeerZ production team for making this event possible! A big thank you to our lovely host, Sani Lorraine, and the rest of the team: Gerard Brian Esplana, Jen Molina, Princess Evangeline Pocon, Omar Morales, Jade Riel Abuela, Mirasol Abogadil, Romina Abogadil, Angelica Tejana, Coleene Salazar, Harold Gallego, John Ezekiel Llanes, Timothy Bundalian and Kiana De Guzman. The event wouldn't have been successful as it was without each and every one of you. Thank you so much and until the next event!

And with that, here are some more images from our event. A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us on this humble occasion, guests who came in from as far as 5 provinces away to offer their support, salamat po! We can't wait for the next chapter of this dream. We hope that this is just the beginning, a prologue to a never ending story of positivity, development, and collaboration that HelpeerZ will enable for everyone. Please stay connected! and To God be the Glory!
